The San Joaquin Street Murals were unveiled at the Downtown Artwalk on September 11.  A reception was held at Le Petit Boutique.

Everyone involved hopes that this is the first of many new murals in Stockton.  Look for fundraising containers in local businesses that say, "Pennies For Public Art" and "Bucks For Beautification" and donate generously! The more money that is collected, the more murals/public art pieces that can be created.

Stockton Art League member Dolly Sellars, who is also lead artist for the San Joaquin Street Mural, was recognized in the September 2009 issue of the Collagraph,  the Stockton Art League newsletter.
